The Faces of Generosity

I didn’t have the opportunity to write down anything in the pas few weeks because it has been crazy busy. Even if there is not so much new stuff on the blog and website, we are working really hard to achieve our mission. Each step is very important and because we have several goals in this ambitious project, shooting cheap pages is not our priority at this point.

What we are concern is to promote the book and fine tune a lot of little details before to hit the road in different countries. We have changed our tag line for “The Faces of Generosity”. My friend Reyhan came with this in a meeting we had recently. We don't think we can find something that represent more our project and we are very thankful for her idea. Other detail we fixed is the perception of a final book. We went to see some advertising agencies to share our interrogation about the perception of the project, but simply talking about it, couple of ideas pop up and we found that “a digital book that will be printed when completed” is also the best description we can use to make it easier to understand. This was inspired by the meeting we had with Claude Doyon and Cynthia Pelland from CC Media.

We feel so fortunate to have the chance to meet extraordinary people who can generously contribute to our project simply by sharing couple of ideas to improve our work. This will help us to help others.

Mesurable philanthropy

Let's face it, people are scared of new media such as the web. Well, I mean, people are not willing to spend a lot of advertising money on the web yet. All major industry try to attract advertisers by giving spaces just to fill their pages and inspire other company to go with them because it provide a great visibility... and results. After all, this is what people want, no? Anyone who advertise want immediate response, or as fast as possible, and as measurable as possible. You can see new online survey with personal code, so the store can follow their customer and create an amazing database. There is a new phenomena where people create home video with zero budget and get millions of count views. When you see that, no wonder you question yourself about the ingredient of such a success an how you can achieve the same for yourself, your brand, or your foundation.

ROAD TRIP FOR MARIE-VINCENT

I am very happy to officially announce the Road Trip for the Marie-Vincent Foundation.





Since 1975, the Marie-Vincent Foundation has been helping Québec children under 12 who are victims of child abuse and more specifically, of sexual aggression.

I will travel the Canadian East Coast during 12 days, May 31st to June 12th, and take pictures of the trip. My 10 favorites pictures will be used to be on the pages 272 to 281, just bellow 1000 Euros. You can donate the the Foundation to be the "owner" of one of the pages. Your name will be on the bottom of the page and on every communication we send to media about this trip.

There is probably the possibility to get visibility on the motorcycle.
