When I looked at the weather on Friday night, I wanted to change the call time to sleep an extra hour. There was not a chance to have any sun and the main reason to wake up early, it is to have the sunrise in the background of the picture. I finally decided to keep the call time at 6:30, just in case.

At 5Am this morning, when I woke up and watch the weather on the web, I was still disappointed to see there was no sun expected before the end of the day. It was too late to call everyone so I went to Tim Horton to pickup some food and drove to the location.

I have to say that from the very beginning of this production, everything went Very well. The first (and only) day I did my scouting, I have seen the best location for the concept I had in mind for Jérémie. I was lucky to have the support of Drastik media for the coordination with the gallery and the props. Couple of emails later, we received a positive answer about the location at the Etecae gallery as well as Photo Service who contribute with some cameras for the window display. Everything was too good to be true... and we were flabbergasted to see the sun just when we were ready to shoot.

The light is just what I was expected and it give us the opportunity to get The picture we wanted for Jérémie. To see the satisfaction on his face was the best reward for me... as well as the amount he is giving to Leucan. Thank you everyone for this beautiful production.

Let's get back to work, we have an other shoot to take care of for Oxfam. We are shooting Jérémie in February and we need to work on the concept. I got several ideas... To show who he is and what is his passion, we have something in mind that is very exciting. I hope he will like it too.

So I did some scouting today and it might be a good place to do the final picture. I can't say more about it yet...

Looking at the perfect weather for the next 2 days, I decided to go to New York on my motorcycle. For sure this is the last chance to do it this year. It was a little cold in the morning at 5AM, but the sun came out and it was an amazing riding session up to Manhattan.

The first appointment was with Jill Rottmann executive director at Covenant House. With such a nice smile, she was very enthusiast about the idea to present our book to some of their best doner to give them the opportunity to be in the book.

Second Meeting was with Sue Bolen who run a successful PR agency. It was important to us to meet the person who will talk about us to media. We agree on what we believe will be the best way to introduce The Photo Art Book 360˚ to the USA.

It is very exciting moments to see that we are about to help people in a larger scale that what we did in our first year.

New York introduction

There have been some new and exciting changes to the website!

There is also room to give us additional comments in regards to the applicants. Each applicant will have a profile; those with silver checkmarks are pending approval and those with green checkmarks have been chosen to be in the book.
